A. Lange & Söhne complemented the Saxonia Automatik with two models in Terrabraun. For the first time a Saxonia model is offered in this elegant shade. The two versions are presented in red and white gold on the occasion of the reopening of the boutique in Ginza, Tokyo.
On the occasion of the solemn reopening of his newly renovated boutique in Tokyo's exclusive Ginza district on June 30, 2016, A. Lange & Söhne has equipped two models of the Saxonia automatic with solid silver dials in the Terrabraun shade. The timeless shade can be combined in many different ways and always has a natural effect. The elegant automatic models have a housing diameter of 38.5 millimeters. Color-coordinated tapes of hand-sewn alligator leather in red and dark brown underline the harmonious overall picture. The massive golden hands and hour indices cover the respective case colors and underline the striking design. Inside, the L086.1 long automatic automatic caliber operates only 3.7 millimeters. It has a maximum running reserve of 72 hours and the distinctive quality features, including the free-cutting engraved claw. One of the special features of the manufactory is a ball-bearing central rotor with a mass of inertia made of platinum. Like all other Lange models, the Saxonia automatic is also mounted twofold, after the individual parts have been refined in elaborate handwork with polishes and cuttings.
